Ptuj Castle: Living Castles 2.0

Castles are not silent monuments, but places that can be brought to life again and again. This is exactly where “Living Castles 2.0” begins: the cross-border project started in September 2024 and runs until August 2027. It develops new visitor experiences, digital tools and inclusive programmes for historic sites in Slovenia and Croatia. For the Castle Road, the project is particularly relevant as it addresses similar questions: how can historic places be made more visible together, interpreted in a contemporary way and developed as living spaces of culture and experience?
