Güssing Castle: A Film about Blessed László Batthyány-Strattmann

In 2024, Güssing Castle became one of the filming locations for a documentary about Blessed László Batthyány-Strattmann. Produced by the Hungarian Batthyány Foundation, the film followed places connected to his life and legacy and made the history of the Batthyány family visible across today’s borders. For the Castle Road, the film is a fine example of how historic places can tell shared stories of memory to a wider audience.
