Murska Sobota / Castle Road 2.0: Castle Road at the Europe Day Bazaar in Koper

On Europe Day 2026, Koper became a meeting place for good European stories: at the “Bazar dobrih zgodb Evrope”, 34 EU-funded projects presented their work at 16 stands and showed how European cooperation becomes visible in everyday life. As Lead Partner of Castle Road 2.0, the Institute for Culture, Tourism and Sport Murska Sobota presented the cross-border Castle Road to a wider public.
Visitors were invited to discover how historic castles, palaces and monasteries in Slovenia and Austria are connected through shared cultural offers, family activities and tourism experiences. The Castle Road was presented not only as a route, but as a European story to experience: lively, cross-border and open to new encounters.
