The 2026 Garden Days at Schloss Kohfidisch were dedicated to a double anniversary: 10 years of the Garden Days and 500 years of Carolus Clusius. The renowned botanist had a lasting influence on Europe’s garden culture and, through his connection with Balthasar Batthyány, also brought botanical knowledge to Burgenland. With botanical rarities, art, history and regional garden culture, Schloss Kohfidisch became a lively meeting place for everyone interested in nature, heritage and sustainable garden design.
